About
Founded in 2007 by head instructor Mike Rogers, St. Charles MMA Training Center was originally called St. Charles Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA and had only a handful of students. Through his love and knowledge of the sport and his dedication to his students Mike created a low ego family environment and quickly earned a reputation for producing top athletes. In 2011 St. Charles BJJ and MMA merged with Domain MMA to form St. Charles MMA Training Center. This merger allowed a larger training facility and a larger training staff, allowing for a more in depth training experience for the fighter. Along with this wide knowledge Mike still maintains a close relationship with his mentor Rodrigo Vaghi. This provides the opportunity for guest instructors and visiting students from the other Vaghi schools. This is how Mike and St. Charles MMA Training Center has continually produced high level bjj competitors, top ranking amateur mma fighters and stand out professional fighters; including fighters in the UFC, Strikeforce, and Bellator.
